Camargue Museum, Mas du Pont de Rousty in Arles

Located in the old sheep farm of the Pont de Rousty farmhouse, the Camargue Museum reopened in November 2013 after a year of renovation. This museum of society presents a new exhibition entitled "The thread of water ... the thread of time in the Camargue". Man's relationship with nature through delta-specific human activities is traced back from the 19th century to the present day. The experience can be extended along a landscaped trail beginning with a work by Tadashi Kawamata that invites you to climb to ponder on the water stakes in the Rhone delta.
Throughout the year, shows, screenings, debates and thematic visits to the museum or the Park territory offer a fun and different approach to Camargue culture.
